Judge Timothy P. Cannon
Judge Timothy P. Cannon was appointed to the Eleventh District Court of Appeals in 2007 and was subsequently elected to his first full term in 2008. He has served as the Eleventh District’s Presiding and Administrative Judge since January 2011.
Judge Cannon received his B.A. from John Carroll University in 1977 and his J.D. in 1980 from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Upon admission to the Ohio Bar in 1980 (and the Florida Bar in 1982), he became a partner at Cannon, Stern & Aveni Co., L.P.A., a position he retained until his appointment to the Eleventh District.
​Judge Diane Victoria Grendell
The honorable Diane Victoria Grendell has been an appellate judge on the Eleventh District Court of Appeals since her election in 2000. Judge Grendell was written and participated in well over 350 decisions a year from the lower courts of Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula, Portage and Trumbull Counties. Judge Grendell has also been requested by Chief Justice Moyer to hear cases on the Ohio Supreme Court on nine occasions, and has had over 60 of her Opinions published to date.

Judge Cynthia Westcott Rice
Judge Cynthia Westcott Rice was elected to the Eleventh District Court of Appeals in November 2002 and began her first term in 2003. The court reviews decisions of the trial courts in Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Portage, and Trumbull Counties. She was re-elected to the court in November 2008 after running unopposed. She was elected by the other judges on the court to serve as the court’s Presiding and Administrative Judge in 2007. Judge Rice has also been appointed by former Chief Justice Moyer to serve as a visiting judge on the Supreme Court of Ohio. She has also served as visiting judge in the Second, Seventh and Ninth Appellate Districts.

Judge Thomas R. Wright
Judge Thomas R. Wright was elected to the Eleventh District Court of Appeals in November 2010 to a term commencing February 2011. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1986. After working for several years, Judge Wright began his legal studies at the University of Toledo College of Law. While in law school, he was a Law Review Technical Editor and one of four third year law students chosen to serve as a teaching assistant for incoming first year students. He received his J.D. with honors in 1991.

Judge Colleen O'Toole
Colleen Mary O’Toole was first elected to the Eleventh District Court of Appeals in 2004. Judge O’Toole left the Eleventh District at the end of her term in February 2011. Judge O’Toole founded On Demand Interpretation Services, LLC, an entrepreneurial start up that provides certified interpretation in 170 languages and American sign-language to public entities and their support networks. In 2012 Judge O’Toole was re-elected to the Eleventh District Court of Appeals.
